Crested Serpent Eagle

Crested Serpent Eagle is a medium sized bird of pray with an average length of 51-71 centimeters.As name suggests Crested Serpent Eagle feeds on snakes, but also eat other reptiles, amphibians and other small birds as well.  Female bird is bigger than the male bird. You can spot this bird in dry climate forests such as Wasgamuwa, Kumana, Yala and also in wet zones as well.
