Brown Fish Owl is a large Owl with prominent ear bunches. This large bird is at about 57 Centimeters in length and weighs up to 2.5 k.g. Male bird is smaller than the fully grown female bird. This bird is a resident bird in Sri Lanka. You can spot this bird in national parks like Wasgamuwa, Kumana and Yala in Sri Lanka.
